Pileated woodpecker in the apple tree.  Evening grosbeak on the bird feeder.  Two wild turkeys just strutting around. An average day.

My name is Jason, I used to email you frequently, do you remember me? I now blog. I have 1 more question- where did you get your masters at?

Jason: Questions like yours are best sent by email, which you can do by clicking on the button on my website.
But just to answer you quickly: I went to graduate school at University of Southern Maine but dropped out just short of getting my Masters because I had written a book which was published, was working on a second book, and suddenly writing fiction was more interesting to me than the academic dissertation I was working on.
It worked out okay for me, but generally I don't recommend dropping out of something you have undertaken to do.

Hello! My name is Austin and I am a seventh grader at south orange middle school. (soms) Recently our assignment was to read The Giver. I loved it...and I just wondered what gave you such a great idea for the book? Imagination daily things? If you don't want to respond you don't have to...
thanks! Austin Hassler
