My House in Cambridge

I could have
shown you a picture of the OUTSIDE of my house in Cambridge, Massachuetts. But you can see it behind me in a different picture on this website. So here's a little glimpse of the INSIDE: a corner of the living room. I would have shown you my office, but it's too messy; I'm embarrassed. Though you can't see any in this photo, almost every room in my house has bookcases filled with books. And there are paintings everywhere, some of them done by friends like Allen Say and Ashley Bryan, and by my friend Middy Thomas, who illustrated Gooney Bird Greene.

Here, too, in my Cambridge yard on a summer afternoon are my grandson, Rhys, and my dog, Bandit. Rhys thinks that Bandit is a stuffed animal. Bandit thinks that Rhys is a very grabby little guy but luckily he often has cookie crumbs on his clothes.
